Compare Similar

Uncountable’s Compare Similar tool makes it easy to detect and compare recipes with similar compositions within a single project or across all projects. Unlike the Compare page, which compares only manually selected recipes, the Compare Similar tool automatically identifies comparable recipes.

Using Compare Similar

To find recipes similar to a specific formulation, select the recipe from its Project Dashboard (1). Within the details sidepanel, and click “Similar” (2).

Alternatively, user can access the “Similar” dropdown menu to:

  • Refine the search to focus on recipes within the current project
  • Expand the search to include all projects within the current material family
  • Configure Advanced Options, such as:
    • Selecting the number of experiments to display
    • Setting whether or not to ignore current filters
    • Setting whether or not to ignore ingredient categories or subcategories
    • Setting whether or not to include identical experiments

Compare Similar Formulations Page

The Compare Similar page functions the same as the Compare page, but with recipes automatically selected. It displays the selected recipe in the first column of the data grid, followed by the ten most similar formulations (or the configured number) arranged from most similar to least similar, moving left to right.

Each column provides details on the inputs, calculations, and measurements for each formulation. This layout makes it easy to detect and analyze similarities and differences at a glance.
