Output groups in Uncountable function as a template of measurements and measurement conditions to simplify the process of adding rows to the measurement table and to help maintain consistency of data collection.
To create an output group, go to the groups tab of the edit measurements view.
Once your group is created, you can build it out by clicking the Add / Change button. In the following modal, you can choose which measurements you’d like to include in the group and then apply any necessary measurement conditions.
There are a few additional configuration options that are available
- You can select whether you want the group to be shared among your team members, otherwise only you will be able to view it.
- You can set certain output conditions to be required for selection when adding the group to your experiment. An example of this would be if all three of the outputs, in this case, needed to have a speed specified, you could assign the speed to all outputs in the group at the same time.
- You can favorite the group by clicking on the star which will put it at the top of the list in the add measurements modal.
